The Baumalight MS1160 Brush Mulcher has a 75” mulching path and is designed for skidsteers with a 7,000 lb minimum weight. The MS1160 comes with unique performance boosting mulcher rings (licensed by Denis Cimaf) and is powered by a bent axis piston motor. The MS1160 uses a fixed tooth holder and comes with 31 sharpenable planer teeth (P11000)as its standard setup, as you will see in the brush cutting size charts this allow mulching of much larger material with an average skidsteer. Customers can purchase carbide ripper R9000 teeth separately to be installed after the P11000 are worn out for mulching with lots of ground contact. The MS1160 skidsteer mulcher also come with a large pressure gauges which is very handy to watch and see how close you are to maximum pressure; ensuring that you maintain an optimal flow.
The heavy-duty steel frame is constructed with T1 alloy tool steel sheet metal. The MS1160’s frame is angled so that you can roll back the Brushy Mulcher, pulling back the pusher bar so that you can fully engage the mulching head. This allows the operator to use the mulching head to fell standing trees. Mulcher head allows the operator better visibility to the area of mulching.
Adjustable skid shoes allow the operator to adjust the cutting height for optimal clearing performance. The adjustable belt tensioner ensures the proper tension of the belts, with no extra idler wheel that could wear out. To tighten the belt, we have to loosen the bolts and raise the motor mount. MS1160 is available with a variable two-speed motor option for maximizing the rotor speed and torque to account for changing mulching material
