Our most economical brush mulcher for excavators, with adequate flow, the MX230 flail cutter will efficiently cut heavy grass and small diameter brush using 22 flail teeth. Flail teeth will swing back when hitting stones so less damage is done to the flail tooth. The flail type cutters are an economic and efficient way to beat back heavy vegetation and light to moderate brush. To increase the mulching capacity, we offer an upgrade to heavier F3000 blade teeth. The upgraded teeth are 6mm thick. The spiral tooth pattern helps in one tooth at a time for smooth mulching. See our brush cutting size chart to see how much this light weight excavator mounted forestry mulcher can process. To verify motor options for maximum brush cutting sizes, you can visit the chart below. With the build in control and precision of the excavator, mulching around objects is not a problem, whether it’s in a ditch or overhead. A relief valve is provided to protect the motor and the hydraulic systems from pressure spikes. When obstacle hits the relief valve, the valve is opened and the pressure is relieved. Integrated skid shoes are provided to help the brush mulcher to better float over the ground for optimal mulching action. A heavy-duty reinforced belt delivers the force from the hydraulic motor to the rotor. The medium duty frame is all steel sheet metal welded and powder coated for long life with a sensible operator.
